We encourage you to browse our site and we hope you invite others to visit.

The Hanna Rod and Gun Club is comprised of firearms and outdoors enthusiasts from Hanna and the surrounding area; there are even a few memberships abroad.  Our group promotes ethical hunting, fishing, and most importantly, firearm and outdoor safety.  We regularly conduct shooting clinics for interested local youth and youth groups (cubs, scouts, etc.) with an emphasis on firearm respect and safety.

The club owns and operates an outdoor rifle and pistol range just a few kilometres north of Hanna.  There is an assortment of  “drop down” targets and several boards for paper targets at many distances out to 200 meters.  The range is equipped with indoor shooting benches (heated with wood stoves for winter use) and has the facilities for group BBQs.

The Hanna Rod and Gun Club hosts an annual gun and antique show the third weekend of July in the Hanna Curling Rink attracting close to 200 exhibitors and many visitors from across Western Canada.

For those interested in shot-gunning – the club is in the process of setting up a trapshooting range close to Hanna.  More details will be posted as work progresses.
