Hanna Recycling Project
The Hanna Paper Recycling Project and the Big Country Regional Recycling Society encourage everyone to pitch in. After all, "it only takes a little effort to make a big difference." The following materials can be recycled.
Office Paper - this includes Bond paper (all colors), envelopes (no window envelopes please), NCR forms and other better quality office papers.
Newsprint - includes newspapers, flyers (ad mail), magazines and catalogues.
Cardboard - corrugated cardboard, pressed cardboard (cereal boxes, shoe boxes, cardboard paper rolls and other packaging cardboard - plastic removed.)
Mixed Paper - includes telephone books, window envelopes, shredded paper (must be double bagged) and any other paper product which doesn't fit into the other categories.
Tin Cans - all food containers must be rinsed out (for sanitary reasons) and labels removed before being deposited into containers.
Glass - includes food jars, bottles, window glass. All food containers must be rinsed out (for sanitary reasons) and labels removed before being deposited into containers.
